With the UK pandemic numbers all moving in the right direction and schools about to open its inevitable that we start to think about ‘what next’. Spring is just around the corner and with its arrival the temptation to venture beyond our front doors – for some this is their first outing in almost a year.

While taking the first step may be daunting we will soon get use to going out, but how has the world outside changed? Here are some thoughts:

The recently vaccinated over 80s are already starting to break the lock down rules yet many in the outside world have still to be given protection. For them it is essential that we keep following the rules – hands face and space, at least until the summer when everyone will have been vaccinated.

The ‘green agenda’ has found its legs – from electric vehicles to ground source heat-pumps – the way we keep warm to the way we travel around is changing rapidly as we become environmentally aware.
